Ap|pert process
Ap|pert process «ah PEHR»,
a process of making wire glass, invented by Leon Appert of France. It consists of rolling one sheet of glass and laying meshed wire on it, then rolling another sheet of glass on the top and pressing the wire and the sheets of glass into one solid sheet.
